C.S.I REFLECTION-Yogeswari

in this crime scene investigation project, i ha a role. and it is a handwriting specialist. at first, when i went to the crime scene, i had no idea what to do. when we go in to the scene, and on the victim's table, there are some words but i did not take down the important notes which was found in the letter. my group leader was so eager to see the blood sample. He asked our english teacher and she brought it secretly to us since the other groups did not ask for the blood sample.

After five minutes in the crime scene, we took the evidence with us and went to the science laboratory to find out who the culprit is using the evidence. As a handwriting specialist, i had a difficult time looking for the same handwriting in the evidence found in the crime scene.

After a while, looking at the handwriting and the suspects' handwriting, i found some similarities in Luise's handwrting, i found some similarities in Luise handwriting and the handwriting found in the crime scene.

C.S.I REFLECTION- Ri Xuan

When I knew that there was a project called C.S.I, I knew that it would be very tough. As I am the group leader of the group, I had not done my jobs by distributing work properly. While we were doing the project, we had faced many problems, like the blog and the script. Our group had many ideas which had caused chaos since they had a lot of bright ideas, but in the end, we gather all the information from each of us and came up with something.

Despite the idea sharing, sometimes, my group member does not do their part. This project had spent a lot of time to finish it and I learnt that we need to go and looked at other people blog for more information, but I know that we cannot copy theirs.

And so after looking, we must ask ourselves some questions, so we will know what we need to improve on. Throughout the whole project, I learnt that it's not easy to do projects especially when some of the group members are not cooperating.

C.S.I REFLECTION- Sherlyn Lee

I have learnt a lot of things during this process and I have learnt more about blogs too. I have also learnt to listen to the teacher's instructions carefully, and if I don't understand anything, I should ask and by asking questions so that I could learn a lot more. Our group has 5 people and there are two boys and three girls. Sometimes, boys and girls don't go well and they won't cooperate but my group members are very to communicate with and they are all very friendly.

There are always some problems we have and that problem is when we are doing the laboratory work. Although, it was quite fun, but our group members have to fight over for a microscope as all of us needed to use it in order to find more information on the CSI project.

There was once when we went online to discuss and in the end, nothing came out but my group members still finished it in time. Everyone in my group is very hardworking and cooperative and I also enjoyed myself during the process.

C.S.I REFLECTION- Michelle Toh =)

This term, we were given a project on crime scene investigation. During the process, I have learnt a lot of IT skills for example, posting of the pod cast and the mind maps and some comic strips. After we collected the evidence from the scene, we were asked to go the laboratory to examine. At that time, I thought I was a detective! Wow! We also faced a lot of difficulties. Firstly, we can’t post our pod cast on our blog. Luckily, Ms Liow told us that Mr. Mus will help us on how to post the pod cast. Back before, when we were doing the recounts, we really took very long time thinking about what to write and finally we came up of what to write. During the process of recording of the pod cast, we tried a lot of times. But I really feel that we are having fun. =P

Whenever, Ms Liow told us what to improve on; we will try to discuss on what to add on. We had stayed back after school to discuss all the things regarding the project. And sometimes, we felt that it was very troublesome. But now, I don’t feel it, instead I find it interesting. Sometimes, my other group members are not cooperating and I will feel frustrated over them. But through all the discussions, I can see that they are starting to cooperate. =) I love working with my group members.

I wish that we can have more group work in future. It is very fun! I really enjoy from this project because I get to things better such as IT skills and cooperating and working together with others. Before this project was given to us, almost all of my group work consists of only girls. But, it is different now. It was mixed! Although I did not work together with the boys sometimes, but I do really realized that some boys are hardworking! Ha-ha. . .
I wish i can do better for other projects!

Firdaus: At the crime scene, we saw that you was coating with a reddish brown substance. Why do you have that with you?
Yogeswari: The substance is soldering flux and its is for my part time job.
Ri Xuan: Then, where were you, six hours before the body was found?
Yogeswari: er..m.. I was at home but after receiving a call from Lois, saying that she need somebody to accompany her before her flight to California.
Firdaus: Okay. Then, that means you were the only person who had last met with Lois?
Yogeswari: …. Yes.
Firdaus: How Lois and you are related to?
Yogeswari: I am his occasional boyfriend.
Ri Xuan: Is there anyone at Lois’ house when u came?
Yogeswari: erm... No.. Because Lois’s parents were at work.
Firdaus: Then, do your both have a fight before Lois died?
Yogeswari(behaving suspiciously) : erm.. I don’t know..
Ri Xuan: Is she having problems in her family?
Yogeswari: I’m not sure.
Firdaus: Ok
Firdaus:Stay here for a while.We had found a witness that had saw you and Lois going up to the lift.So we are going to question her.
(Lock the door up .....Going to the room where the witness is.)
Ri Xuan: Don't worry we will only ask you some question and please answer it and cooperate with us.
Michelle Toh:oh...O ..kay
Firdaus:What time did you see Lois and Luise going up with the same lift?
Michelle Toh:Erm.. Let me think.... Oh.... it is about ten p.m. in the night.
(Firdaus and Ri xuan thinking.....It the day before before Lois flight to California )
Ri Xuan:Why are you so sure that the person is Lois and Luise?
Michelle Toh:Oh...I live beside Lois so we are neighbour and I always see a guy named Luise coming to her house,So I know the face of Luise and Lois.
Ri Xuan:Oh well...Have you seen anything strange about them?
Michelle Toh:Nope, not at all.But when I was going to enter my house,I heard some strange noise coming from Lois's house.After that, there was a total silence in the house.I thought it was nothing so I went back into my house.
Firdaus:After that, did you see Luise coming out of the house?
Michelle Toh:Not at all because, at that time, i thought it was nothing, so ,I entered my house and I went back to sleep.
Firdaus:Ok, thank you for cooperating with us.
(Firdaus and Michelle Toh shake hands )
(Walking back to the suspect room, and opened the lock)
Ri Xuan: The witness told us that she saw you and Lois walking into the same lift at Lois' house void deck before Lois flight to California.
Firdaus: She also said that she heard some noises coming out from the house but she ignored. So, were you with Lois when she was found dead?
Yogeswari: ... No.
Ri Xuan: But, you were the last one who met Lois!( bang the table!) If you were not with her, then where were you when she was found dead?
Yogeswari: I... I went off after receiving a call.
Ri Xuan: So, who called you?
Yogeswari: Erm... (Remained silence)
Firdaus: You better cooperate with us! Were you with the victim when she was dead?
Yogeswari: .... Yes, I was with her.
Ri Xuan: so, did you kill her?
Yogeswari: (hestitate for a while) Yes, I killed her..
Firdaus: why did you kill her?
Yogeswari: erm... because I could not bear to see her suffering over a death of a friend, so, I ended her worries by killing her..
Yogeswari: I did not want to kill her but I have no choice because this is the best way to end her worries.
Ri Xuan: Thank you for your cooperation. Whatever you had say just now, will be the evidence for this case.
